Annemarie Plenert writes stories about magic and/or space, for kids, teens, and adults. She has been published in The Establishment, The Mennonite Historian, and was an editor of her university’s literary journal and student newsletter. She has a degree in English Literature from Canadian Mennonite University.

She was born in Northern BC and currently lives in Winnipeg with her family and cats. She spent ten years working in reproductive and sexual health, and five years in libraries. She loves to find a new favourite topic to dive into, and if you ask her kids, she “is always giving lectures.” She would probably be an academic in another life.

In this one, she is an exceptionally tall hobbit; an extroverted Moomin; a collector of random information. You can contact her here.
