Annemarie writes stories about magic and space for kids.
She grew up in northern BC and currently lives in the middle of the Canadian prairies with one husband, three kids, and two cats. She received a degree in English Literature from Canadian Mennonite University in 2005, and she has been published in The Establishment, The Mennonite Historian. She previously co-ran a fiction website called Widdershire.
She drinks tea, makes her own clothes, bakes her own little treats, and plays Bach on the piano when she’s stressed. She also believes that libraries and the arts should be funded; that abortion is health care and trans rights are human rights; that Black lives matter; that Palestine should be free, and Canada should give the land back.
